Sent on behalf of Anne Poulson, Director of Academic Services, King’s College and Chair of SELLLN’s Planning and Resources Committee
Dear all
I hope you will be able to attend our event on Monday 21st June 2010 to celebrate the first phase of the SELLLN project. As previously announced the central team other than Georgia Bergson has now left SELLLN. However, the Lifelong Learning Co-ordinators within the universities and colleges are still working very hard to bring this first phase to conclusion. Their work is supported by Ingrid Hooley, who is acting as interim manager based in the King's office.
Please do not hesitate to contact any of us with any queries.
Interviews for two new business managers, to be selected from remaining SELLLN staff, Â to take forward the project for a further year will be held in late June.
Best wishes

Welcome to the web home of the South East London Lifelong Learning Network.
Our main role is to help vocational learners to progress to and through higher education. We are a partnership of four universities and six colleges, set up as a network in 2007. We aim to do this in several ways.
creating opportunities for vocational learners
-
We help our partners to design progression agreements. These clearly state what vocational learners need to do to be considered for a place at one of our universities.
-
We work with Information, Advice and Guidance services in our partner institutions to supplement and enhance what is offered to learners, and to look at innovative ways to ensure more learners can access higher education.
-
We help our partners to create new vocational programmes, or to extend and adapt those already available
