An innovative project funded by SELLLN has just been completed by LLU+ at London South Bank University. The project researched current employer engagement and networks relevant to students on construction pathways and investigated models of support that would underpin successful progression from Level 3 to Level 4 for students on construction courses.
Apprenticeship Week 2010 takes place from Monday 1st February until Friday 5th February 2010.
In conjunction with a number of sector skills councils, SELLLN is discussing different approaches to facilitate progression for Advanced (level 3) Apprentices to higher education.
SELLLN’s Planning and Resources committee have agreed to extend the pilot of Take it Higher, SELLLN’s free online careers information, advice and guidance service, until July 2010.
South East London Lifelong Learning Network (SELLLN) and Skills for Care South East London Sub-Region, hosted a joint funded event that came from requests put forward by the Skills for Care South East London Sub-Regional committee. The primary aim of the conference was to raise awareness and provide information on the important changes taking place in the learning and development of health and social care workforce.
