As part of this year's Adult Learners' Week, which ran from Saturday 9th - Friday 15th May 2009, SELLLN sponsored the Adult Learner of the Year Award at partner institution South Thames College. Karen Morse, Director of SELLLN, attended the celebratory awards ceremony.

SELLLN is pleased to announce the launch of Take it Higher, the free and impartial online information, advice and guidance service funded by the South East London Lifelong Learning Network and managed by The Careers Group, University of London.

At the second of SELLLN's Great Practice In series, held on 10 June 2009, Clare Chandler delivered a presentation on Researching Barriers to Progression. The seminar was well received and, despite a cross network tube strike on the day, well attended by delegates!
